Aimed at relaxation and
a change of scenery, the series "Pure Nature"
includes only natural sounds, without any music. The
sounds have been recorded at the very heart of Nature,
by one of the best bio-acousticians of our century,
Jean Roché.

CD Compilation
This CD is made of a representative sample of the 12 titles of the "Pure Nature".
A unique
recording allowing our friends the apes to put
across their point of view. In a way, these exotic
songs tell us about day-to-day life in the jungle.
Before we acquired a spoken language nature granted
our fi rst cousins an array of incredibly rich
and musical sound variations. The entire work
creates a remarkable disorientation of the auditory
experience. Ideal for a change of scenery and
setting the mind free to Paroles discover the
fi nest sounds of the Asian and Latin American
jungles.
Ode to life and spring. The freshness of undergrowth sheltered from indiscreet glances, the quietness of an untouched nature that nothing can disturb. A stream whose fresh water quietly flows along. We join with the birds in the joy of this new spring. Time stops, your breathing becomes slow and calm like that of life itself.
A long
sandy beach stretching away for miles and miles.
The soothing sound of
the waves, the reassuring backwash of the sea
and the calls of the seagulls all
succeed in conjuring up an afternoon on the Atlantic
coast. We are overwhelmed by dreams. A tiny marina
comes into view with a slew of sailing craft ready
to set off for far-fl ung destinations, towards
new adventures, a lost paradise, towards the sun
and another life. Set your mind free to go on
holiday and cast off for 60 minutes listening
to a non-stop recording of natural sounds.
Getting
in touch with our aquatic cousins, the dolphins
and whales. Next stop
Hawaii, the favourite destination of these charming
mammals, which arrive at
Easter time to reproduce, much to the delight
of bio acoustic engineers. Groups of whales criss-cross
the passages between the islands. There is often
no need to go far out to sea to hear their marvellous
sounds. Almost human siren songs, surrealist maritime
airs, the whales and dolphins can be heard on
this recording expressing the entire spectrum
of tonal variations contained in their songs.
An hour of evasion from the jungle of the cities to that of the tropics. The hot, humid atmosphere of a tropical jungle, with luxuriant vegetation, entangled creepers and monkeys swinging from them to the rhythm of their strange cries, endless trees with so many colored birds on their branches... Immediate embarkation to exotic destinations such as Borneo, Sumatra, Venezuela, Costa Rica, New Guinea, alaysia or China!
These
marsh vibrations are a genuine ode to the aquatic
environment that has
developed during the millions of years of evolution
our wonderful planet has so
far undergone. Alytes, frogs, green toads and
myriads other species singing for
us the vital essence as part of a choir or individually.
Created as a tribute to these legendary creatures,
the recording features extraordinarily musical
items. Ideal for refreshing your ideas with one
of the most mysterious sound landscapes.
A disc that can be listened to quietly as background music. The love songs of crickets, cicadas and grasshoppers, like a light murmuring to which we pay almost no more attention after a while but which leaves floating in the air the souvenir of the soothing and scented atmosphere of the end of the day in south of France.
The weather has been hot, very hot. The birds like rest of nature are longing for coolness. Agitation rises little by little until at last a storm breaks out. The rumbling of thunder and then lightning strikes. The refreshing rain falls thick and fast, watering the land and shooting the plants, the flowers and the animals.
A low-pitched,
deep sound is heard in the distances. The stag
in its reproductive
period is seeking female company as an expression
of his inner drive. This highly emotional auditory
scene takes us to the crack of dawn in the mists
of the Tronçais forest in France’s
Massif Central to remind us of the incredibly
rich variety of songs to be found in nature. Songs
celebrating life, sprinkling the evolutionary
timetable of the sound landscapes that are just
as remarkable as the sound of the stag during
the mating period. There in the background are
various bird species from the region, creating
an atmosphere that is perfectly delightful to
listen to!
The dawn of a clear morning. A path thrusting its way into the forest. A clearing where the sun is beginning to break. A camaïeu of endless greens and wild humid scents. Cuckoos, blackbirds and chaffinges, tits and other birds of our forests, let me feed on your song so pure. The forest belongs to you.
Life
is beginning to start, at dawn in the original
forest.
We are in Brazil, Costa Rica and Venezuela in
the world’s fi nest jungles to spend an
hour listening to the exotic songs of the birds
of paradise amidst the atmosphere of the tropical
jungle. Making a disorienting impact on the ears,
this recording plunges us deep into the forest,
into the mysterious comers of the fi nest jungles
our planet has to offer. An outstandingly rich
sound landscape, an invitation for dreaming and
getting away from it all, we are gradually being
led towards the deep south!
This
legendary, highly charismatic creature can be
both tender and cruel. The
wolf is a lot like us, which is no doubt why human
beings have enthusiastically
investigated the structure of relationships within
packs and the characteristics
of their impressive songs. The song of the wolves
conjures up nature in the far
North, the wide open spaces and the cruel winters.
However, the song may also
be redolent of the quite different context of
the emotions and communication still available
within the heart of some of our forests.
