Kikuko
walked along the dew path towards the tea house.
Her mind was fi lled with a feeling of serenity,
as every time she paid a visit to this sanctuary
of Japanese art.
As if they were symbolic thresholds, the young
girl passed under several archways formed by trimmed
cherry branches joining together at the tips.
She stopped at the bend of each alley to contemplate
the disposition of the 15 rocks. They could all
be seen at the same time from any spot in the
garden. Kikuko thought to herself: “A viewpoint
is always incomplete, but each one enhances the
other”.
On
the banks of a lake with silvery glints, a poor
fi sherman discovered a mysterious shimmering
light cast up on the shore. The man was immediately
fi lled with a burning desire to possess the light.
He rushed back to his humble abode to hide his
spoils at the bottom of a trunk. Almost feverish
with excitement at being the owner of such a wonderful
object he did not get a wink of sleep all night.
He had to keep getting out of bed. As soon as
he lifted the lid of the trunk, the ball radiated
an intense glare, fl ooding the room with blue
and silver colours to transform his home into
a palatial dwelling...
Getting
in touch with our aquatic cousins, the dolphins
and whales. Next stop
Hawaii, the favourite destination of these charming
mammals, which arrive at
Easter time to reproduce, much to the delight
of bio acoustic engineers. Groups of whales criss-cross
the passages between the islands. There is often
no need to go far out to sea to hear their marvellous
sounds. Almost human siren songs, surrealist maritime
airs, the whales and dolphins can be heard on
this recording expressing the entire spectrum
of tonal variations contained in their songs.
An
ode to napping on the water’s edge...
Nonchalance...Laziness...
Sluggishness...Smoothness...
Heat under the sun’s caress,
Senses on the alert,
I take a taste of the breeze
I laze around, I praise myself
for my laziness...
Spirits
of the sea and of the wind,
please accept my offering
protect our clan.
Brandishing his heavy sword
and wielding his iron shield,
my husband has set off to war.
On
the volcanic and mysterious isle, in the heart
of Indonesia, the nights are hot and humid. Tomorrow,
Kumar, the fl ute player will go and play music
in the gardens of the Sultan. At the hour when
the darkness becomes translucent, as a leopard,
Kumar moves around noiselessly, In a light and
sure leap, he jumps over the fences of the palace
and arrives in the perfumed garden, under the
pendopo with carved teck columns...
This

Amra
was always in a rush, always multitasking and
everything had to go fast. One morning she spread
her veils out on the sand so they could dry. All
of a sudden a strong gust of wind blew away the
saffron-coloured veil. Amra ran after it, trying
to catch it but it fl ew further and further away.
And Amra no longer knew how to stop.
The almond trees were bearing fruit, the brooks
were discharging their turquoise freshness. The
scent of nature fi lled the air and Amra kept
on running. One day, she caught her foot in a
stone and rolled all the way down to the bottom
of the hill. She ended up at the foot of an exquisite
magnolia...
The
Son of the Sun has just risen. His thoughts reach
out to the majestic condor
hovering in the distance, fl ying over the high
plateaus, dwelling a while over the forests…
crossing his huge empire extending as far as the
wild seashores. He is no stranger to this journey.
The words of the Callanaya are echoing in his
mind: ”Your inner treasures are infi nite
and more extensive than any empire. The only limitations
are the ones you set yourself. Learn to recognize
your desire. When you have gauged the full extent
of this desire, project its image onto the people
around you, until it becomes glaringly obvious
and it becomes a powerful reality”.
Life
is beginning to start, at dawn in the original
forest.
We are in Brazil, Costa Rica and Venezuela in
the world’s fi nest jungles to spend an
hour listening to the exotic songs of the birds
of paradise amidst the atmosphere of the tropical
jungle. Making a disorienting impact on the ears,
this recording plunges us deep into the forest,
into the mysterious comers of the fi nest jungles
our planet has to offer. An outstandingly rich
sound landscape, an invitation for dreaming and
getting away from it all, we are gradually being
led towards the deep south!
Jazzy
improvisation to the sound of traditional Indian
rhythms.
He hailed from the West, very keen on jazz,
She hailed from the East with a fl ute as the
only luggage
At the time when the horizon catches fi re,
When nature retreats into mystery,
When the shadows become compliant
Oriental Jazz They both started to play...
